Method 1: Re-calibrate compass
- Enable GPS/Location on your Android smartphone using the Quick Settings toggle
- After that, launch Google Maps and tap on the current location
- Select “Calibrate” and do just as instructed (tilt and move your smartphone to create a horizontal 8)

Method 2: Improve location accuracy
- Go to Settings -> Location -> Google Location Accuracy
- Disable the toggle beside it
