Elden Ring Patch 1.08 Released: New Features and Fixes

The patch notes for Elden Ring version 1.08 have been made available for download for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One. The update was developed by FromSoftware. The latest update includes improvements to stability as well as performance, in addition to a variety of additional tweaks and fixes.

Elden Ring version 1.08 includes the introduction of the Colosseums of Limgrave, Caelid, and Leyndell, where players can engage in combat trials such as one-on-one duels, free-for-alls, and team battles up to six players. New hairstyles have also been included for character creation, which may be accessed during character edition by utilising the Round Table Hold Clouded Mirror Stand.

In terms of balancing changes, thrusting weapons counterattack damage and guard efficiency while attacking with specific weapon types have been reduced. Straight Swords, Thrusting Swords, Heavy Thrusting Swords, Curved Swords, Axes, Spears, Twinblade Swords, and Katanas have all had their poise damage halved. The Spell Carian Slicer’s power has been reduced, while the speed and range of some attacks have been improved, with faster recovery time for Daggers, Axes, Hammers, and Flails (dual wielded).

Elden Ring Patch 1.08 Released: New Features and Fixes

Elden Ring update 1.08 fixes a bug that prevented consumable items from being replenished when teleporting to a grace from the map, a bug that caused stamina to replenish when switching to a crouching position while running, and a bug that caused Spell, Incantation, and item input actions to be ignored while guarding against attacks.
