Huawei is sending a new software update to Huawei P20 Lite. It brings the latest security patch released in May 2021 that fixes a bunch of system security and privacy related issues.
The new software update for Huawei P20 Lite comes with firmware version EMUI 9.1.0.381 and weighs just above 200MB in size. It is currently rolling out in Turkey and should reach other regions in the next few days.
As per the official bulletin, May 2021 security patch fixes 3 critical, 10 high, and 4 medium levels Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE’s) to better protect the system. As usual, the new OTA update is rolling out batches, so it will take a couple of days to reach all the devices. Meanwhile, users can manually check for the latest update using any of the methods given below.
