Samsung started rolling out the February 2022 security update towards the end of January, which debuted on the Galaxy Note 20 series. The latest security patch has already rolled out for most of Samsung’s high-end phones and now, budget and mid-range phones have started picking up the February update. Galaxy A32 and M31 are the latest entrance to Samsung’s February 2022 security update list.
Samsung Galaxy A32 is reportedly receiving the latest software update in Russia, while the Galaxy M31 is receiving the February update in Bolivia. The latest OTA update comes with firmware versions A325FXXU2AVB1 and M315FXXS2BVB1 for Galaxy A32 and Galaxy M31, respectively.
The latest security patch from Samsung fixes over 60 vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. Galaxy A32 and M31 users in some regions (mentioned below) have started receiving the February update. In the coming days, the update will cover more regions. Users can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings >> Software updates.
Samsung released the affordable Galaxy M31 in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. The device has already received one major upgrade, and hence running on Android 11. Galaxy A32, on the other hand, was launched last year with Android 11 pre-installed. According to Samsung’s software update policy, both devices should receive Android 12 update
