A couple of days ago, Samsung started rolling out the April 2022 security patch update to Galaxy A53 5G users in India and South Korea. The update has now started seeding European users. In addition to a new security patch, the update also includes several camera-related improvements.
The latest One UI software update for the Galaxy A53 5G comes with the firmware version A536BXXU1AVCC. According to the official changelog, the update incorporates the April security patch and camera stability.
The April 2022 security patch fixes as many as 88 vulnerabilities from Samsung and Google. The vulnerabilities are related to the Samsung Contacts app, StorageManagerService, One UI Home, Knox Manage, and more. We recommend updating your phone to the latest security patch available as it boosts system security and privacy.
For now, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is getting the April 2022 security update in Austria, Croatia, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. Hopefully, it will expand to more regions in the coming days.
