Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Fold 5G users in Europe start receiving the February 2022 Security Update

Samsung has started releasing the new security update for the original Galaxy Fold and it comes in the form of the February 2022 Security Update being released in Europe. The February 2022 Security Update for the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Fold 5G comes with the firmware versions F900FXXS6GVA1 and F907BXXS6GVA1 respectively. The update for Galaxy Fold will be available in Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Hungry, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic while the update for Galaxy Fold 5G will be available for users in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK.

The new update will upgrade the security to February 2022 Security standard while also coming with fixes for more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities for Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Fold 5G devices. It will also feature upgrades that led to stability improvements and general bug fixes.
