Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 5G get November 2021 security update

Samsung has started sending the November 2021 security update to Galaxy Fold 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. It has already been rolled out to over a dozen of Galaxy phones and now reaching the first generation 5G Galaxy foldable.

The new OTA update for Galaxy Fold 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 5G is reportedly rolling out in various European countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Nordic countries, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK.

The new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G is bundled with the firmware version F707BXXS5EUJ2 and F907BXXS6FUJB, respectively. It is just a minor security patch update and is unlikely to bring other changes like UI changes or new features.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G in Europe have started picking up the November 2021 security update. It will soon expand to other regions. Meanwhile, users can manually check for the update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.
