Galaxy Note 10 Lite Receives December 2022 Security Patch Update

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has received another software update, this time bringing the December 2022 security patch to the device. This update, which is currently rolling out in France, increases the firmware version to N770FXXS8HVL1. It’s worth noting that this update is focused solely on improving the security of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and may not address any issues with Android 13 or One UI 5.0.

To download the update, head to the “Software update” menu in the phone’s settings. If the update is not yet available in your country, it should be rolling out soon. Alternatively, you can also download the firmware with SamFirm Tool or Frija Tool.

Going forward, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will only receive security updates and potentially One UI 5.1 once it is released. While it was the only Galaxy Note 10 model eligible for the Android 13 update, it will not receive any further major OS upgrades. However, it is expected to continue receiving monthly security updates for at least another year.
