Google officially releases the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.2 update

Google is quite active when it comes to rolling out incremental updates and the developers are back with a new QPR2 Beta update. Google has officially released the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.2 update and it could be the last beta update before the stable quarterly update is officially released. Google started pushing the first Android 13 quarterly update back in December and the second quarterly update is rumored to arrive early next month. This update will be available for Pixel smartphones.

The previous small beta update came out almost two weeks back. It came with fixes for issues but there were a few issues that Google has addressed in the recent update. The Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.2 update comes is being released with the build number T2B3.230109.009. The build number is different for Google Pixel 7 Pro and it is T2B3.230109.006.A1.

Changelog for the new update (Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.2)

The new update comes with a number of bug fixes while also carrying a new feature for Pixel users in India. This update enabled Jio 5G on Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 7 smartphones. The minor update includes these fixes –

  • Fixed issues that were causing the screen on devices to flash green or display visual artifacts
  • Jio 5G network will be enabled for Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 7 Series devices

Quarterly Platform Releases is a program started by Google in which the OEM releases a major update every quarter. For achieving this, Google has started testing via the three major beta updates, similar to the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.

If you have installed the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3 on your Google Pixel phone, you will be able to upgrade to the latest build. The update will be available through OTA for the users.
