Honor 30, 30 Pro+, V30, and V30 Pro are receiving HarmonyOS 2.0.0.168 update

Honor is rolling out HarmonyOS 2.0.0.168 update to Honor 30, 30 Pro+, V30, and V30 Pro. It brings September 2021 security patch, multi-camera mode, camera fixes, and display-related fixes. 

According to the changelog, HarmonyOS 2.0.0.168 update brings multi-camera mode. It allows you to “choose a HarmonyOS 2 mobile phone or tablet (with multi-camera mode required) in the same WLAN network as the lens to take wonderful pictures from multiple angles and realize remote control”. It fixes the camera watermark automatic rotation issue in some scenarios.

The new update for Honor 30, 30 Pro+, V30, and V30 Pro brings the security patch released in September 2021, which fixes 2 Critical, and 18 High levels of CVE’s (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures). It also fixes the issue where some icons were not displayed in the control panel.

  • Display: Fix the problem that some icons in the control panel are not displayed
  • Security: Integrates the September 2021 security patch to enhance the security of the mobile phone system.
