Honor is sending February 2021 security patch update to Honor 9X and 9X Pro. The new security patch fixes 2 Critical, 26 High levels, and 77 Medium levels of CVE’s to enhance the device security.
The latest update for 9X and 9X Pro carries software version 10.1.0.126 and weighs just over 200MB in size. The Honor 9X series is a part of the company’s quarterly security patch updates. Recently, A well-known Chinese tipster DigitalJun claimed that the Honor 9X will get upgraded to Hongmeng OS (HarmonyOS) later this year.
Honor 9X / 9X Pro users who are yet to receive the February security update can manually check for the latest update by navigating to Settings >> System & updates >> Software update >> Check for updates.
