Xiaomi is now rolling out a new software update to Redmi 9 users in China. The update brings February 2021 security patch, which enhances the system security.
The update is based on Android 10 and rolling out to users with firmware version V12.0.7.0.QJCCNXM. As this is just a security patch update, you won’t experience any new changes. But, internally the security has been upgraded.
If you’re a user of Redmi 9 in China and haven’t received the update yet, then check it manually by navigating to Settings >> About phone >> System update.
Alternatively, we’ve added a download link for the latest package. It requires manual installation which we don’t recommend.
