Honor View 20 bags May security patch with version 10.0.0.201

Huawei has rolled out the May 2020 security patch update to Honor View 20. The update carrying version PCT-L29 10.0.0.201 (C432E10R2P5).

The main focus of the update is improving system security. Along with the security patch, it also brings stability and performance improvements to the device.

The update is being rolled out via OTA (over-the-air) in a phased manner. The OTA weighs in at 133MB. We recommend users to use WiFi while downloading the update to avoid data charges.

The update is currently being rolled out in China. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the update. If you own the device, you can manually check for the update, Go to System > Software /System update > Check for updates. or open HiCare app > Update > Check for updates.
