Method 1: Restart your gaming device
The first thing you should do is restart your gaming device and see if there’s any temporary system glitch or cache data issue. A simple reboot can fix various issues, including Error Code 14515.
Method 2: Run Modern Warfare 2 as the administrator
- Head over to the installed game directory on your PC
- Right-click on the MWII.exe application file
- Now, click on “Properties” before clicking on the “Compatibility” tab
- After that, click on the “Run this program as an administrator” checkbox for enabling it
- Once done, you should click on “Apply” and press “OK” to save changes
Method 3: Update the game
- Open the Steam client and head over to the Library
