One weapon that many players have been desperately asking for is the Intervention Sniper Rifle. This weapon became a major hit in the original Modern Warfare 2 back in 2009. Now, the Intervention is slated to arrive in season 3 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 as the FJX Imperium.

How to unlock the Intervention in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2
When Season 3 of the game comes to an end, the Intervention will be unlockable via an in-game challenge that is yet to be revealed. Activision has already started teasing a Blueprint version of the Intervention, which means that a Store Bundle will likely allow you to unlock the gun from the launch day of Season 3 itself.
It isn’t known yet whether the weapon will be free for all players or if there will be any restrictions. Using the new choice-based system, the players can make a beeline straight for the Intervention if they wish to.
The quickest way of unlocking the new sniper rifle will be via a friend who has already unlocked this gun. Ask them to load the gun into DMZ with you. Once you both are in-game, get your friend to drop their weapon for you to pick up. After that, immediately go to extraction. Once you’ve left DMZ, you will find the Intervention unlocked in your gunsmith.
