How to Use CAS Full Edit Cheat in Sims 4?

The Sims 4 is a pretty popular game among the masses. While it’s a vast game with one of the biggest in-game worlds, sometimes you might still find yourself short of outfits and hairstyles.

Moreover, it isn’t the clothing that lacks, it’s actually that the variations aren’t enough. If you’re looking to go through the aspiration walking style, body type, relationship status, age, and more factors for your sim, then you need to have additional privileges. It isn’t possible with any type of extension pack too.

Enable cheats in Sims 4

Before you’re able to use the Sims 4 Full Edit Cheat, you’ll need to ensure that you’ve got the cheats enabled with a simple cheat code. It’s important as it’ll ensure that all cheats are working properly and most of the time, the cheats won’t work without it. Doing so will pop open a cheat dialog box at the top of the screen and you’ll type in either testingcheats true or testingcheats on and hit enter. The game will let you know that the cheats are enabled.

Once you’ve enabled the cheats, you’ll want to enable the Full Edit Cheat Mode in Sims 4. What you’ve to do here would be to open the cheat box with a set of commands.

  • PC – Ctrl + Shift + C
  • Mac – Command + Shift + C

Once it’s opened up, you’ll need to type in cas.fulleditmode into the dialog box and hit enter. For closing the dialog box, you’ll need to hit the same commands that you used for opening it up. You should then go up to the sim that you want to edit and hold down shift on the keyboard before clicking on them and choosing “Modify in CAS”. It’ll open up create a sim and you’ll have the opportunity to create different edits that you’d like. Just make sure that you’re hitting the check mark in the corner at the end
