Huawei has started rolling out December 2019 security patch update for Huawei P Smart 2019, Mate 20 Lite & Honor 10. The updates are being rolled out as an OTA update. Last year was not so good for Huawei. It had issues with the US government and Google due to which the sales got hit.
Huawei P Smart 2019 December 2019 Security update
Huawei P Smart 2019 users are getting December 2019 patch which will bump the software version from 10.0.0.132 to 10.0.157. TheHuawei P Smart (2019) has already received the official stable Android 10 update last week and the current update is also based on Android 10 at the top of EMUI 10. The size of the incremental OTA is around 600 MB.
Huawei Mate 20 Lite & Honor 10 December 2019 Security update
Along with Huawei P smart 2019, Mate 20 lite is also being updated to December 2019 patch update. The update brings the software version 10.0.0.170. The update is based on Android 10 (EMUI 10) and weighs in at 500MB in size.
Another Huawei device has also been updated. The very popular Honor 10 is getting the December patch update with software version 9.1.0358, It weighs in at 268 MB. These updates address various bugs and optimize the stability of the system.
