The Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has updated another device with the latest security update. The Huawei P30 Lite has started receiving the latest December 2019 security patch update in some regions. The update comes with version number V10.0.0.158
The update is being rolled out in some regions as an OTA. The OTA update weighs in around 610 MB in size. If you own the device, you should check whether your device has received the update or not. You can manually check for the update, go to System > Software update > Check for updates.
The current update is still based on Android 9 pie. The update brings stability and performance improvements to the device. The update also addresses various bugs which were present in the previous build. One thing to note that the European users of Huawei P30 Lite have been trying out EMUI 10 beta update based on Android 10 which means the official Android 10 update for the device is around the corner.
As I have already mentioned the update is rolling out is some parts of the world and may take few days to be available all across the globe. So if the update is not available in your region, just wait for few more days.
