LG has filed a patent for flexible full-screen display (2020)

The South-Korean tech brand LG has recently filed a new 2020 flexible full-screen display that offers a wrap-around screen (360°). The 2019 year was quite good for each and every foldable smartphone except the Samsung Galaxy Fold due to fragile screen. While some other foldable display devices like Huawei Mate X, Motorola Razr 2019, Samsung W20, and currently Xiaomi is also working on Mi Mix Alpha.

Now, talking about the LG device which has been filed for a patent will have a smartphone case with the display instead of a foldable display only. The CEO of LG has announced that the company is working on a foldable smartphone in October 2018. Now, at the starting of 2020, some of the leaks are getting clear with each and every day.

The device features a dual foldable display with a stylus pen. The company has filed a patent in China with a flexible that has been included in the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). The patent has recently approved on January 17, 2020. A very thin bezel is visible on the display border along with two cameras available that can be used to take of both rear and front pictures. The foldable hinge technology is placed in the middle of the screen which seems quite stable enough.

There are speakers available on both the top and the bottom side of the device along with a microphone. A power button is available on the upper frame of the device along with a 3.5mm audio jack and a MicroUSB port for charging as well.
