Redmi 7A users in India are now receiving a new software update. It brings the latest security patch released in March 2021 that fixes different levels of exploits and enhances the system security.
The latest package for Redmi 7A is based on Android 10 and comes with firmware version V12.0.2.0.QCMINXM. This is a minor security patch update and does not bring new features or UI changes apart from improving the security.
Redmi 7A users in India who are yet to receive the latest update can manually check the status by heading to Settings >> About phone >> System update. Alternatively, we have added download links for the latest package that requires manual installation.
