Motorola rolled out Android 13 update for Moto Edge 30 Pro

Motorola Edge 30 Pro is a high-end smartphone from Motorola and it has become one of the most popular offerings from the OEM. Motorola shared the list of smartphones eligible for the Android 13 update back in December and mentioned the rollout timeline as “early 2023”.

Even though Google started rolling out Android 13 almost 9 months back and it’s the 4th month of the year already, Motorola’s high-end device didn’t receive the update. However, that has changed now as there’s news of the first Motorola smartphone getting the Android 13 update.

Changelog for the new update for Motorola Edge 30 Pro

Motorola has been seeding the new update on the Edge 30 Pro and it comes with the firmware version T1SH33.35-23-20 and weighs almost 1.60 GB in size. As of now, the update is only available for users in Brazil and Mexico, and more regions are expected to receive the update soon.

The update comes with a long list of new features including a revamped personalization panel with support for more color palettes, a revamped Music Player, an updated notifications panel, per-app language, Bluetooth LE audio support, app notifications permission, and more.

If you are a Motorola Edge 30 Pro user and you’re waiting for the Android 13 update to arrive, you can finally upgrade your device to the new version. If you aren’t seeing the Android 13 OTA notification yet, you can just head over to Settings -> System -> Advanced -> System Updates and then look for the new updates. As the update is currently in a rollout phase, you should wait for a few days until the official OTA notification arrives. As it is a major update, you should connect your device to a high-speed Wi-Fi connection and have more than 60% battery to download the update seamlessly.
