Nokia 220 4G, Nokia 105 Feature Phones unveiled: Specifications, Price

HMD Global has announced Nokia 105 (2019) and Nokia 220 4G (2019) feature phone in Europe. Both the phones will go on sale from the next month. The latest generation of Nokia 105 feature phone comes with a polycarbonate body and offers three color options. The phone runs on Nokia Series 30+ operating system while the Nokia 220 4G features some of the similar specifications of Nokia 220. Check out price and full specifications.

Nokia 105 (2019) is the re-branded version of Nokia 105 (2013). The previous generation of feature phone came with a 1.45-inch TFT screen with 128×128 pixels resolution. The new device also features same along with Nokia Series 30 operating system, an 800 mAh battery. In 2015, Microsoft has released a new version of Nokia 105 with Series 30+ OS and higher storage. Then the first rebranded version of Nokia 105 came in the year of 2017.

Nokia 220 was first launched back in 2014 and the new Nokia 220 4G (2019) is the 2nd generation feature phone. All the specifications are almost the same but the newer version features 4G connectivity. Those who’re using a feature phone as a daily driver for only calling purpose but doesn’t have 4G connectivity, they can choose this device.

The Nokia 105 (2019) sports a 1.77-inch QQVGA screen with 120×160 pixels resolution quality. It runs on Series 30+ Operating System. The handset features a Micro-USB 1.1 port, 2G connectivity, FM Radio, and an 800 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the phone also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and Mini Dual-SIM slot for some of the specific markets.

On the other hand, the latest Nokia 220 4G (2019) comes with a 2.4-inch QQVGA display along with a 120×160 pixels resolution. This feature phone runs on Feature OS. In terms of the connectivity options, the phone includes a Micro-USB port, Dual Nano-SIM slot, active 4G with 2G fallback, etc. Additionally, it includes Bluetooth 4.2, and a rear VGA camera as well. It has a 1,200 mAh battery, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack also.

Price and Availability

According to HMD Global, the Nokia 105 (2019) is priced at EUR 13 (Rs.1,000 approx). The device will go on sale starting from August 2019 in Blue, Pink, and Black colour options. While the Nokia 220 4G (2019) is priced at EUR 39 (Rs.3,000 approx). It will be available in early August 2019 in Blue and Black color options. However, there is no confirmation for the availability of these two devices in other countries yet officially.
