November 2021 security update debuted on the Galaxy S21 series

Samsung has done it again. It’s the first smartphone brand to release the November 2021 security update, even before we entered the month. This is not very surprising, as the company has been doing it for months. You might have guessed, it’s Samsung’s latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S21 series, getting the November 2021 security update.

The new software update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra is currently rolling out in Germany, and more markets should get it over the next few days. The new software update comes with the firmware version G99xBXXS3AUJ7. It is unlikely to bring any major changes. However, it might include device stability improvements and several general bug fixes.

Samsung has not yet detailed the November 2021 security patch. Therefore, we don’t know, which security and privacy are being patched with the new monthly security update. Samsung Galaxy S22 series users have started picking up the November 2021 security update in the specified region. Those, who are still in the queue, can manually check for the update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.
