OnePlus has been the most sought after smartphone manufacturing company nowadays after the company had launched the OnePlus 3T smartphone last year which has done tremendously well all around the world. The company has now been preparing to launch the OnePlus 5 smartphone which will be a sucessor to the OnePlus 3T. The company is known to skip the number 4 because it is considered unlucky in China and the company doesn’t want to attract negativity around the phone. OnePlus 5 has been anticipated by many as the ultimate smartphone that will launch in 2017 and the specifications of the phone are also starting to get more and more interesting as the launch of the phone is getting near.
Today, we have one fresh new rumor and this has to be trusted more than other because this is via GearBest, an eCommerce website in China which has listed the OnePlus 5 smartphone along with all the specifications of the phone. The listing also reveals that the OnePlus 5 will come with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM but there are rumors that a version with 6GB of RAM can also be possible.
Also revealed in the lsiting is that the OnePlus 5 smartphone will have Android 7.1 Nougat which is currently the latest version of Android and it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is currently only available on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. The listing also says that the OnePlus 5 will have a 16MP + 23MP camera on the back of the phone. This also goes in line with the previous rumors that the smartphone will have a dual-rear camera setup.
The listing shows that the OnePlus 5 will have 5.5 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixels QuadHD display which should come with the Optic Amoled display same as the OnePlus 3T and will retain the dual-sim capabilities same as the OnePlus 3T.
