OnePlus recently rolled out May 2022 security patch to Nord N20 and now, another mid-range phone has started picking up the latest security update. It’s none other than the OnePlus Nord CE 5G getting the May 2022 security patch update.
The latest software update for OnePlus Nord CE 5G is tagged as OxygenOS 11.0.17.17. It is a minor security patch update that improves system security and privacy by fixing numerous vulnerabilities. Don’t expect any performance improvements or new features after installing the new OTA update.
OnePlus has started to roll out the May 2022 security patch update for Nord CE 5G users in India. Like every time, the new software update is rolling out in batches. So, it might take a while to reach all the users. You can head over to the Software update section under the Settings app to check for new updates.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G was released last year with Android 11 out of the box. It is a mid-range phone with a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 750G 5G processor, 64MP triple rear cameras, and a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The smartphone is yet to receive its first major Android update that will take it to Android 12.
