Samsung Galaxy A10s gets May 2022 security patch update

Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A10s users. It mainly brings the older May 2022 security patch. Notably, the South Korean giant has already pushed June security patch to many of its budget phones, and hopefully it will be rolled out for Galaxy A10s in the coming weeks.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A10s comes with the firmware version A107FXXU8CVE3. The firmware has a download size of 221.03MB. According to the changelog, the device is mainly getting the May 2022 security patch that includes dozens of vulnerability fixes to improve the device security and privacy. It also improves the overall stability of the Galaxy phone.

Samsung Galaxy A10s is a budget friendly phone which was released back in 2019. The device came pre-installed with Android 9 Pie out of the box. A year after the launch the device got upgraded to Android 10 and last year it secured its second major Android OS update in the form of Android 11. It was in fact the last major update, and therefore the Galaxy A10s will not get Android 12.
