Patent Application Applied for the Upcoming Vivo Smartwatch

One of the Chinese OEMs Vivo is a strong competitor when it comes to the smartphone industry. The company offers plenty of budget to mid-range to upper mid-range devices that bring good hardware specifications, best in class cameras, and off-course the design. Though the Funtouch OS seems quite laggy sometimes, most of the users love the UI and its features for day to day usage. Recently, Vivo has filed a patent application for its upcoming Vivo Smartwatch dated 23.10.2019 in China.

However, the application was announced last month at 24.01.2020 according to the patent application images. Thanks to @_the_tech_guy for sharing this information and images on the Twitter handle. Now, the Vivo Smartwatch patented as a wearable device that has a rounded display with minimum bezels. According to the image, the wearable will come with a detachable leather strap/belt.

Additionally, the abstract drawing is also showing a connection portion at the end of the strap which is facing towards the dial body. That means the connection port can be easily hidden when a user wear it and it won’t be quite easy to remove the connection portion by mistake which seems more reliable.

In the next image, the dial or display size may be around 3.9-inches (approximately). However, we don’t know whether this information is genuine or not.

Therefore, it will take some time to get more details or leaks about this smartwatch if Vivo is really working on this wearable product. Keep visiting our blog, for more info.
