Realme 6 Pro, Realme C11 (2021) get December 2021 security update

Realme starts sending a new software update to Realme 6 Pro and Realme C11 (2021) users in India. It mainly brings the December 2021 security patch to improve system security and privacy.

The new software update for Realme 6 Pro is rolling out in India with the firmware version RMX2061_11.C.21. It brings the Android security patch level to December 2021 and optimizes system performance and system stability. Also, It fixes an issue where images were not loading properly in the WhatsApp messenger.

Realme C11 (2021) is also getting the December 2021 security patch via the latest software update, which is rolling out in India carrying the firmware version RMX2185_11_A.101. Several users from Europe have also reported receiving the latest security patch. Soon, it will expand to more regions.

The latest software update for Realme 6 Pro and Realme C11 (2021) was announced through blog posts on Realme’s community forum post. The post mentions that the new update will be rolled out in a staged fashion. Therefore, it may take a few days to reach all the units. To manually check for new updates, navigate to Settings >> Software Updates.
