Realme 7 and 7 Pro users have started picking the December 2021 security patch via the latest software update. It is currently rolling out in India with firmware versions RMX2151_11.C.15 and RMX2170_11.C.28 for Realme 7 and 7 Pro, respectively.
Realme published a post on its community forum to announce the latest software update for Realme 7. It brings some fixes and improvements, in addition to the December 2021 security patch. According to the changelog, the update improves system performance and stability. It fixes an issue where images in WhatsApp were not loading properly.
The changelog for Realme 7 Pro is pretty much similar to that of the Realme 7. In addition to all the changes in Realme 7, the update for the Pro model also brings the November 2021 security patch. It should fix dozens of vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. Thus, making the device more secure.
Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro are receiving the December 2021 security update in a phased manner. It means that the update will initially reach a limited number of users, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days if no critical bugs are found.
