Realme has started to roll out a new software update to Realme 9 5G users. It updates the Android security patch level to June 2022. In fact, the Realme 9 5G is the company’s first phone to get the June 2022 security update.

The latest software update for Realme 9 5G is rolling out in India. It comes with the firmware version RMX3388_11_A.06. According to the changelog shared by RMUpdate, the device is getting the June security patch for improvements to system security and privacy. Additionally, the update fixes an issue with the Lock Screen Magazine.

The latest build for Realme 9 5G is based on Android 11. It is a minor security patch update as it does not bring new features or changes on the UI level. However, the security is getting upgraded, which is a critical thing for any smartphone. To install the June software update on your Realme 9 5G, you’ll have to download an OTA package worth 400MB in size.
