Realme has rolled out the Android 13 update for its handsets as Realme 9i 5G bags the Android 13 update via the Open Beta program. This means that Realme 9i 5G users will be able to experience Android 13 before the public release. The update comes with the build number RMX3612_11.C.03 and you can enjoy the Android 13 features after submitting the application.

Realme 9i 5G has become the latest Realme handset to receive the Android 13 Open Beta update and it comes with numerous general bug fixes, enhancements, and improved system security. The update comes with the build number RMX3612_11.C.03.

Coming to the features and changes, the update will bring forth the new aquamorphic design elements, new Quantum Engine 4.0, new color palettes, optimized widget design, optimized font for better readability, new editing tools for the screenshot, large folders for the home screen, improved Hyperboost GPA 4.0 for gaming, Bitmoji support for AOD, and more.

Once you’ve updated your smartphone to the required version, you should head over to Settings -> Software Update. You should then tap the gear icon located at the top right corner and head over to Trial Version -> Open Beta. Fill in the correct details and then submit the application. The Realme team will review the application and soon you’ll receive the Android 13 via OTA update. Moreover, another thing to note is that the update is only available for a limited number of users.

Once you’ve received the update, ensure that you take a backup of important data and charge your smartphone to at least 60% before updating to Android 13. If you want to downgrade to Android 12, you can manually install the rollback package from the stock recovery.
