Realme C11, Realme 7 Pro receiving the October 2021 security update

Realme C11 and Realme 7 Pro are now receiving a new OTA update that brings the Android security patch level to October 2021. Each new security patch fixes a bunch of system security and privacy vulnerabilities, and so the October 2021 security patch does.

The new software update for Realme C11 and Realme 7 Pro was announced through posts on the Realme community. According to the changelog, the Realme C11 is getting the October 2021 security update in India with the firmware version RMX2185_11_A.99. It also optimizes the system stability and fixes known issues.

Realme 7 Pro is getting September as well as the October 2021 security patches with the new OTA update, which is currently rolling out in India. It also brings system stability and performance improvements. The update comes with the firmware version RMX2170_11_C.27 and a download size of just below 300MB.

Realme is sending the October 2021 security update to Realme C11 and Realme 7 Pro in a staged manner. So, initially, a limited number of users will receive the update, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days, if no critical bugs are found. Anyway, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.
