Realme C25s and GT Master Edition getting August 2021 security update

Realme’s August 2021 security patch list is getting long day by day. The new security update was recently started rolling out to Realme X and Narzo 30A. And now, Realme C25s and GT Master Edition have joined the party.

Realme has started pushing the August 2021 security update to Realme C25s which is bundled with the firmware version RMX3197_11.A.12. As mentioned in the changelog, the software update fixes some known issues and optimizes system stability for a better user experience.

Realme C25s is also receiving the August 2021 security update in India. It can be identified by the firmware version RMX3360_11_A.04. The update improves mobile signal strength as well as, improves the Wi-Fi connection stability. It also improves the system smoothness. Realme has fixed the occasional heating issue that occurs in certain scenarios.

As always, the new OTA update is being pushed randomly to a limited number of users. Users can expect a broader rollout in the coming days, if no critical bugs are found. To manually check for the new update on your Realme C25s / GT Master Edition, navigate to Settings >> Software updates.
