Realme X users in India start receiving the August 2021 security patch update. It is rolling out to those users who have updated their phones with Android-11 based Realme UI 2.0 update.
According to the Realme community post, the new software update for Realme X is bundled with the firmware version RMX1901EX_11.F.03. It fixes the Camera freezing issue when using the rear camera in Portrait mode, switching to the front camera, turning on the flashlight, and when switching to another switching mode.
The update boost Wi-Fi performance by improving the Wi-Fi signals. It fixes the issue “where app windows in the animation might show square corners instead of rounded corners when you exit an app”, fixes search box and the navigation buttons overlapping issue in guest mode, and fixes the issue “where apps might appear in the wrong place in the Recent screen when you switch to the Recent screen from Split screen view”.
Realme is rolling the software update in a staged fashion. So, it may take a few days to reach all the Realme X users in India. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the new update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.
