Realme starts Android 13 Open Beta for Realme 8 5G and Narzo 30 5G

Realme has rolled out Realme UI 4.0 skin based on Android 13 on the Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G via a closed beta program last month.

To join the open beta program, users can navigate to the Software Update in Settings, tap on the gear icon at the top right corner, select Trial version, and enter the required details. Once the application is approved, users will receive the open beta update on their phone with F.02 build number.

Details of the open beta program have been officially shared by Realme on its community forum. To participate in the program, users need to ensure that their phone is running on the latest software, specifically the C.06 build for the Realme 8 or Narzo 30 5G. If your phone is running on an older software version, it should be updated before joining the program.

As Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 is a major upgrade, it requires a large amount of data to download. Make sure to have enough data before updating and also take a backup of important data before updating your device to the new software.

Those who are eager to try out the new features of Realme UI 4.0 can opt-in to the Android 13 beta program. The update comes with a variety of new features and changes, including the new aquamorphic design elements seen on Oppo and OnePlus phones running Android 13, updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more.
