Realme rolls out Android 13 update for Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G

Realme has started pushing the stable Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 software update for its numerous device. Now, Realme has started rolling out this update for Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G handsets. This update comes 2 months after the official announcement of the early access program. As this is a major upgrade, it brings a whole host of new features, enhancements, an bug fixes.

The new update comes with the build number F.04 and it will be available for both Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G. According to the details on the community forum, your device will need to be running on specific builds to gain access to the stable Android 13 update. The required builds for the update are C.06, C.07, and C.08. In case your device is on an older version, you must update it to any of these versions.

Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G have started receiving the new update and it comes with a bunch of new and exciting features including the Aquamorphic design elements as seen on OnePlus and Oppo devices running Android 13. The update will also have features like an updated AOD, a Private Safe tool, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, support for more color palettes, new editing tools for screenshot, large folders for the home screen, and more.

You can manually download and install this update by going to your device’s settings. For doing that, follow these simple instructions –

  • Open the Settings
  • Click on System and Updates
  • Now, open Software Update
  • Tap on the option Check for Updates
  • If the update is available, simply click on Download and Install
  • Once the installation is finished, reboot your Realme 8 5G or Realme Narzo 30 5G

Alternatively, you could manually request software updates through the “My Huawei” app. In order to do that, open the “My Huawei app”, tap on the “Update” option, then select the “Check for Updates” option, and finally “Download and Install”.
