Realme X7 5G gets a new update with VoWiFi feature and April 2021 security patch

Realme X7 5G starts receiving a new software update that brings April 2021 security patch. In addition to this, the update also adds VoWiFi feature. This feature will allow you to make normal calls using Wi-Fi when you are in places with low or no network signals.

In addition to these, the update optimizes system performance and improves system stability and user experience. Some previous known issues which are not detailed in the changelog are also fixed by the update. It can be identified by firmware version RMX3092_11_A.17

The Realme X7 5G is eligible to receive Realme UI 2.0 update which is based on Android 11. It has been already rolled out for Chinese users. But for the Indian users, the company will start Realme UI 2.0 Beta program by May 2021. 

Back to the latest update, it is rolling out in a phased manner which means that a small percentage of users will receive the update initially. After that, the company will broadly roll out the update, if no critical bugs are found. To manually check for the latest update on your Realme phone, head to Settings >> Software updates.
