New update for Realme X7 5G brings June 2021 security patch and camera fixes

Realme is sending a new software update to Realme X7 5G that mainly brings May and June 2021 security patches along with a bunch of fixes. The OTA update is currently rolling out in China and carries firmware version RMX2175_11_C.11.

In the camera department, the new update fixes splash screen issue with front camera when using video mode & time-lapse photography mode, fixes the front camera blur issue when using HDR and beauty mode, fixes the excessive noise in front camera recoding in night scenes, and “Group Photo” tab display issue is also getting a fix. Realme has added fix to “stuck arrow keys when sliding in the gesture area at the bottom of Honor of Kings”.

In addition to the camera and gaming related fixes, the latest build fixes double-clicking issue on live wallpaper, eye protection mode icon display issue in the control center, music playback triggering issue when the headset is playing video, and lastly, it fixes the “display error when restarting the phone lock screen animation after charging is completed”.

Realme X7 5G is probably the company’s phone to receive June 2021 security patch. As of now, the update is currently rolling out in China and will expand to other regions over the next few weeks. To manually check for the latest build, head to Settings >> Software updates.
