Redmi 7A MIUI update is rolling out

Xiaomi has recently released a new update for its Redmi 7A model. The Xiaomi Redmi 7A MIUI Global Stable update is rolling out based on Android 9.0 Pie. The software OTA update is rolling out via batches and it may take some time to roll out completely. The new update brings the updated July 2019 Android Security Patch level to the device system and features the AI Portrait & AI Scene Detection.

According to the Xiaomi Mi Forum, the company has started rolling out the MIUI for the Redmi 7A smartphone. The software update brings July 2019 security patch to the device for better system security and stability. It also brings the portrait mode for both front and rear cameras and AI scene detection as well. By the help of AI scene detection, Redmi 7A device users can now identify 33 scenes easily via the MIUI stock camera app. You can now download the recovery ROM or fastboot ROM from below.

If you haven’t received the OTA update yet on your device, you can check for the OTA updates manually from your device. Go to the Software Updater tool and check for it. If not available then manually download and install the update file from below. Additionally, you can flash the Fastboot ROM as well if you’re on a developer ROM.

Redmi 7A MIUI update is rolling out

The Xiaomi Redmi 7A handset was launched in May 2019 in China and India region. It’s a dual Nano-SIM smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie over MIUI 10 out-of-the-box. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It packs 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage options. While the storage is expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card.

The device comes with a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with 720×1440 pixels resolution. It has a 12MP single rear camera with PDAF, HDR, and an LED flash. While the front features a single 5MP selfie camera with HDR mode. In terms of the connectivity options, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, Micro USB port, and more.

The device features an Accelerometer, Proximity, Compass sensors. It packs a Non-removable Li-Po 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging. The handset is available in Matte Black, Morning blue, Matte Blue, Matte Gold color options.
