How To Run GBoard On Flex Panel On Galaxy Z Flip 5

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is making waves with its innovative design and features particularly the expanded cover screen that allows you to perform tasks more efficiently.

However, this device is still in its early phases in terms of third party app support. While there are many third-party applications we can go without, Gboard is one that we find difficult to give up. Its accurate swipe functionality is unmatched and it is become a keyboard of choice for many.

Flex Mode is a feature on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 that automatically changes the layout of the user interface (UI) when the phone is folded halfway to create an L-shape. This allows apps to adjust their position to fit the top and bottom of the screen.

I have followed all the instructions as per above, and unfortunately gboard does not load on the cover screen (flex panel).
Are there any additional instructions that that can be shared as to how this has been achieved.
These 2 steps are very vague and unclear, also there is no feature to resize gboard within the app itself (I believe this has been removed in a recent update).
    Wait for Gboard to Appear
Launch Gboard and set the same theme and height as before.
