Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50 pick up September 2021 security update

Samsung has now released the September 2021 security update for Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50. It was the first to release the latest security update which debuted on Galaxy S20 FE and has now reached a bunch of Galaxy phones including Galaxy A10s, Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy F41, and more.

According to a Sammobile report, the new OTA update for Samsung Galaxy A30s has started rolling out in Argentina. It is bundled with the firmware version A307GUBU4CUH6. As of now, we don’t have the complete changelog, but it should not bring anything more than just a new security patch.

Samsung Galaxy A50, on the other hand, is receiving the September 2021 security update in Panama and Trinidad and Tobago. It can be identified by the firmware version A505GUBS9CUH2. As detailed by Samsung, the September 2021 security patch fixes nearly 50 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy.

Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50 users in the specified regions have started receiving the September 2021 security update. Users who have not received it yet, can manually check for the new OTA update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.

Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50 were launched back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Thanks to 2 major OS upgrades, the phones are running on Android 11 OS.
