This year, Samsung has been doing a great job in rolling out software updates. Last week, the company started rolling out June 2021 security patch update which has reached Galaxy S21 series, S20 series, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. As per the fresh information, Galaxy A50 and Galaxy Z Flip have now started receiving the latest security update.
The June update for Galaxy A50 is rolling out in India, which can be identified by PDA version A505FDDU8CUE4 and weighs just above 500MB in size. For Galaxy Z Flip, the latest update carries firmware version F700FXXS5DUE1 and is rolling out in some African and Asian markets including Bangladesh, Israel, Kenya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan.
Samsung is yet to announce the security fixes that we are getting with June 2021 security patch. However, we can expect the company to announce the details in the next few days.
If you’re a Galaxy A50 / Galaxy Z Flip user from the specified region and have not received the update yet, then manually update your phone by navigating to Settings >> Software updates and then tap on “Download and Install“.
