Samsung has been pretty impressive this year with its software rollout plans. The company has already started rolling out May 2021 security patch update which is now reaching Galaxy A51 users. In fact, Samsung is the first OEM to roll out the April and May 2021 security patches.
Last month, the Galaxy A51 started receiving Android-11 based One UI 3.1 update and now receiving a new update in a new month. The update carrying firmware version A515FXXU4EUD7 is currently rolling out for Russian users and will reach other regions pretty soon. As of now, Samsung has not detailed the May 2021 security patch. So, we don’t know which security vulnerabilities are patched with this update.
If you are a Galaxy A51 user in Russia then you would have already received the update. If not, then manually check for the update by navigating to Settings >> Software updates and then tap on “Download and install“.
