The South Korean giant has recently released the February update for Galaxy Note 9, which is again a four-year-old device. It’s really impressive software support from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is reportedly receiving the new update in Colombia. It can be identified by the firmware version A530FXXULCVB1. The latest OTA update brings the January 2022 security patch, that fixes dozens of vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. It might also include general bug fixing and stability improvements.
The last software update for Galaxy A8 (2018) was started rolling out in October 2021, bringing the October security patch. Now, the monthly security patch has been jumped to January 2022 with the latest update.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) users in Colombia have started picking up the latest build via OTA. It might take a couple of days to reach all the users in that region, and should start expanding to more regions in the coming weeks.
