Samsung is usually one of the quickest when it comes to releasing the latest software and security updates. However, it isn’t always possible for all the handsets to receive the update, which is why some get it later. Samsung Galaxy M02 and Galaxy A02s have become the latest devices to bag the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update.
Samsung has started rolling out the Android 12 update for Galaxy A02s in Russia and it comes with the firmware version A025FXXU4CVF4. For Samsung Galaxy A02s handsets, it’ll be the second big software update after it received the One UI 3.1 update last year. Meanwhile, this will be the first major upgrade for Galaxy M02 as the handsets are getting the update with the firmware version M025FXXU3CVF4. The update has gone live in India with more regions expected to receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
Samsung’s latest One UI 4.1 update will come with new camera features inspired by the Galaxy S22 flagship series. The devices are receiving new camera tools including pet recognition, night portrait functions, improved Director’s view, and lighting position editing functions. It is also noteworthy that the new update will include telephoto portray video mode and there will be Google Duo Live Sharing, an improved Health app, Object Eraser with Shadow & Reflection Eraser, and Grammarly integration with Samsung Keyboard.
