Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ get May 2021 security patch and Quick Share improvements with the new update

Samsung is rolling out a new software update for Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+. It brings the latest security path ( i.e. May 2021 security patch) for system security enhancements. In addition to this, the update brings improvements to Quick Share feature and device stability.

T875XXU2BUE2 - Galaxy Tab S7 May 2021 security update

The Galaxy Tab S7 lineup recently received April 2021 security patch update that also brought several new features. But, the latest update is more focused on security improvements. It carries firmware version T875XXU2BUE2 and T975XXU2BUE2 respectively for Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+. The update is currently rolling out in several markets. And, we guess, the update won’t take much time to reach all the regions.

If you are a Galaxy Tab S7 or Tab S7+ user and have not received the latest update yet, then manually check the status by navigating to Settings >> Software updates. Then, tap on “Download and install“, if an update is available.

Samsung May 2021 security update is rolling out at a very good pace. It has already reached most of the new smartphone and started hitting company’s mid-range phones too. The security patch improves system security by fixing 3 critical CVEs, 24 high CVEs, and 17 moderate CVE’s (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).
