While many smartphone manufacturers are yet to release the April 2022 security update for their high-end phones, Samsung, on the other hand, has already started delivering the latest security patch to even budget phones like Galaxy A13. It shows how good is the South Korean giant at rolling out regular software updates.
The April 2022 security patch for Samsung Galaxy A13, identified by the One UI build version A135FXXU1AVD1, includes dozens of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. As of now, it is rolling out in several European markets including Poland, France, Italy, Ireland, and United Kingdom. And, usually, the update starts covering more regions in a few days.
Samsung recently released the details for April 2022 security patch, according to which, it fixes as many as 88 vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung. The vulnerabilities that have been fixed are from the Contacts app, Knox Manag, Storage Manager, One UI Home, Samsung Dex Home, and more.
If you are a proud Samsung Galaxy A13 user in Europe, then you may receive the April update anytime soon. Keep an eye out for the update notification or navigate to Settings >> Software update to manually check for new updates.
As a general recommendation, make sure the device has enough storage and the battery is charged at least 30 percent before installing the update. Once the update has been installed, reboot your phone and explore new changes.
