Samsung rolls out November 2023 update to Galaxy Z Flip 3 / Z Fold 3

Samsung recently updated its top foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, for November 2023. These updates mainly make the phones more secure. They also fix some problems and make the phones work better.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3’s update is out in Europe and the USA. Its firmware versions are F711BXXS6FWK2 in Europe and F711U1UES5GWK1 in the USA. This update doesn’t have new features but it does have the newest security updates.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3’s update is right now only in Europe with the firmware version F926BXXS5FWK2. It includes the latest security patch that fixes 65 issues in Android and One UI. There’s also a fix for problems with the Exynos processor, but this doesn’t affect the Z Fold 3 because it uses a Snapdragon chip.

You can download this update straight from your phone in the Settings app under Software update and then Download and install. Or, like the Fold 3 /Flip 3, you can download it from Samsung’s website and use a Windows PC to install it.

Samsung is good at updating its devices regularly, especially the more expensive ones. These updates show Samsung’s effort to keep its foldable phones safe and modern. If you’re in a place where the update is available, it’s a good idea to install it to keep your phone safe from recent security risks. If you’re somewhere else, the updates should be there soon.
