How to Flash / Install Stock Firmware On Moto G4 / G4 Plus

Download & Install Stock Firmware On Moto G4 / G4 Plus

  • First, read the Pre-Requirements section then follow the given steps
  • Download the right firmware file from the download section and extract it to the ADB & Fastboot folder
  • Now go to the ADB & fastboot folder and open the command window

[symple_box color=”gray” fade_in=”false” float=”center” text_align=”left” width=””]To open command window from ADB folder, press and hold Shift key and right-click on an empty space

  • Reboot your device into bootloader mode by pressing and holding Power + Vol.Down button
  • Now just run the flashstock.bat script.It will automatically run all the fastboot commands to Install / Flash Stock Firmware On Moto G4 / G4 Plus
  •  Once the process is completed, reboot your device
  • Done!!! Your device should have the stock Firmware

  1. hey i have downloaded the stock rom for my moto g xt1641 but when i use the command “fastboot flash partition gpt.bin” it show a error message:
    C:adb>fastboot flash partition gpt.bin

    in another files it show a meessage like “image not signed or corrupt” but cmd flashes files correctly so i only have this problem. how can i fix this?

    • Download the firmware image file put it inside the ADB Folder.Now download the flashstock.zip from the download section and extract it into same folder and run it.It will automatically install the stock Firmware

      • Using flashstock.zip Its the same that i copy and paste all the codes in Cmd. Maybe if i can flash the stock rom with my custom recovery i stiil have twrp recovery installed

          • No, stock rom cant be flashed by custom recovery only by fastboot , but now im on CyanogenMod 13 and maybe i’ll install CyanogenMod 14

  2. wifi is not turning on and sim cards are not being detected and there is no imei numbers and mac address shows 02:00:00:00:00:00 and der is no ip adress. plz help me restore my phone

  3. I have tried a few firmware packages and I follow the instructions perfectly. I am running the xt1625 Athene
    First boot I have service, I reboot and no service at all. I am not sure what to troubleshoot next. This is without doing google updates or motorola updates. This is before I even select my language. I can replicate this over and over.
