T-Mobile LG K10 K42820i January 2018 Security Patch (OTA Update) | Android 7.0 Nougat: T-Mobile has started rolling out latest January 2018 security patch update for LG K10 via OTA.The OTA has been rolled out in the US  and only available for T-Mobile users.This update comes with the latest security patch update which was released by Google in January Security.The update comes with build number K42820i.The update brings some bug fixes which were available in the previous build.It also brings stability and performance improvements.Thus, you should download and install the update to your T-Mobile LG K10 which will come as an OTA update to your phone.

LG K10 comes equipped with a large 5.3-inches display with a 720P HD Panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 coupled with 1/2GB of RAM.The device comes with 2 internal storage variant 16 and 32GB which can also be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.LG K10 Sports 13MP Primary camera on the rear side and 5MP camera on the front for selfies.

Check device’s current software version

  1. Go to Settings 
  2. Tap General > About phone. (If using List view, scroll down to PHONE MANAGEMENT,’ then tap About phone.)
  3. Tap Software info.
  4. Read the Software version on the phone, and check it below.


Manually Update T-Mobile LG K10 to K42820i January 2018 Security Patch

You can manually check for the update from Settings > General  > About Phone  > Update Center.If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for few days for the update to come to your device as it is being released phase-wise manner.


Before installing the updates, make sure your device is connected to a good wifi and your device has more than 50 percent battery life remaining
